Innovation is the compass that shows the way.

The Politecnico di Bari, established in 1990 through the spin-off of the Faculties of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Bari, offers over 10,000 students 23 degree courses, 4 doctorate courses, as well as 3 master’s degrees and a specialisation school. The main teaching sites are located on the urban university campus, with a degree course in engineering and a school of specialisation in architectural heritage and landscape offered in Taranto, in the suburban district of Paolo VI and in the historic centre, respectively. More widely distributed throughout the metropolitan area are the research laboratories, with sites in the eastern district of Japigia in Bari and in the neighbouring municipality of Valenzano.
