The infrastructure system of Puglia is the network that keeps the areas of the region connected throughout their extension, the ports, the railway network, the intermodal systems, the airports guarantee and feed the flow of movements within the territory and to and from the outside. This system will be strengthened by the infrastructure investments provided for in the PNRR, which aim to develop links between the areas and the national transport network.

Airports
There are four airports in the SEZ area: Bari, Brindisi, Foggia and Taranto/Grottaglie.

Ports
The SEZ area includes 7 ports in Bari, Brindisi, Manfredonia, Barletta, Monopoli, Taranto and Molfetta.

Rail terminals
There are three railway terminals in the North Puglia-Adriatic area which represent strategic nodes for the transport of high cube shape containers.

Regional freight terminal
The regional freight terminal of Puglia is an intermodal facility connected to roads, railways, ports and airports; it is located close to the industrial area of Bari-Modugno.

Logistic Platform
The Platform, with an area of approximately 200,000 square metres, is located in close proximity to the maritime terminals and the national rail network.
